Solution to reduce crowd in banks Most of the Indian banking sectors have a device (say, token dispenser unit) nearer to the gate as shown in Figure 1. The person who is entering into the bank for any reason should press the button on token dispenser unit to get the token. The person who is receiving the token will have date, time and the token number. Apart from that, there will be a device (say, token display unit) in the top of the bank. The token display unit displays the token number which is in process and the counter number which is processing the token number as shown in Figure 1.The person receives the token from the token dispenser will have to wait until his/her token number is called or displayed in token display unit.
